Path to a Shape

mikebystedt

I've got a board outline that is a path instead of a shape.

I'd like to be able to use axlGeoPointInShape() in order to make sure certain items
are within the boundaries.

I've been fussing around with this for hours now, and can't get the right combination.
I've tried messing with axlPolyFromDB as well as just breaking up the segments to
create an r_path to make a new shape.  It's gotta be really simple but I'm not getting it.

Help greatly appreciated!

    when(outlineObj ->objType == "path"
      path = axlDB2Path(outlineObj)
        when(axlGeoPointsEqual(axlPathSegGetEndPoint(car(axlPathGetPathSegs(path))), axlPathSegGetEndPoint(axlPathGetLastPathSeg(path)))
        poly = car(axlPolyFromDB(path))
      )
    )
