Select Multiple pin

hi,


how to select multiple pin.actually now im using axlSingleSelectPoint() and axlAddSelectPoint(). now i need to select above 50 pins continuously but not exact.is there any option like for select multiple pin in axl command.

    It's unclear exactly what you want but try using the axlSelect command.

    actually i want to select multiple pins and vias randomly to get their dbid.

    Use axlSelect and right click for temp group.

    Hi Dave, Its working fine now..thanks a lot.. and I need a clarifications 1) if I select a same pin on different layers, will the dbid of the pin be same ? 2)how to select multiple items in a listbox(I have binded subclasses in listbox)? thanks

    1) The pin dbid is not dependent on the pad layer that you select it from. However, dbids are dynamic so you won't see the same value.

    2) Add a multiselect option to your form list.
