Have cline to shape, is there a shape to cline?

I have the cline to shape file (cl2s.il) and am curious to know, is there a shape to cline file or process out there? When I work with this process I export the traces that I am converting to shapes first to a subdrawing, then make my conversions. However, if I accidentially click on a trace I don't intend to, or don't have it in my subdrawing, I don't have a way of quickly converting it back, my undo is grayed out.

Thanks.

    Is this possible? I have not seen any response, but I am curious.

    Thanks.

    I guess it would be possible to write some code to do this to legacy shapes but it wouldn't be easy.

    A more simple approach would be to add the original line attributes to each shape using a custom property.

    This could then be used to reconstruct the original line.

    The attached version (4.0) includes features to enable a cline converted to a shape to be restored to a cline.

    It also now handles fillets when converting to a shape (but not back yet).

    Feedback and suggestions are welcome.

    Thanks Dave. I am looking to taper a trace a small amount, from 6.2 to 5.4 mils. I can get it to taper larger sizes like 8.0 mils to 6.5 mils, but nothing smaller than that. I can create a shape and place it on the transition of the two CLines, but I am looking to make it something simpler.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks,

    Pete

    You need to change your taper desired angle to something small. Try 20 degrees. I can't do this through the gui for some reason but this works:

    p = axlGetParam("fillet"), p ->taperAngle = 20, axlSetParam(p)
