AutosilkUtils in 17.2

EvanShultz

I suspect eDave may be the best person to answer, but any feedback is welcome. After upgrading to 17.2 from 16.6, invoking Allegro shows the following error in the console:

E- *Error* loadContext: could not open file - "64bit/AutosilkUtils_public.cxt"

Is there an updated utility for 17.2? Perhaps I'm doing something wrong?

So no AutoSilkUtils in 17.2? How sad. If you've not submitted an enhancement request, please let me know and I'll be happy to do it. Thank you, Dave.

It should work if you have the correct cxt file.

See attached (it needs to be renamed to AutosilkUtils_public.cxt and placed in the 64bit folder in your SKill path

Sorry, eDave.I may not have described it clearly.

i don not konwn how to create a new cxt file.I follow the instructions"setContext、load、defInitProce、saveContext" to create a context using il_allegro.exe.when i loadContext the Generated cxt file,it will tell me "E- *Error* loadContext: could not open file - "64bit/***.cxt".when i use the cdsmps in linux to create the cxt file,He also prompted the question "E- *Error* loadContext: could not open file - "64bit/***.cxt".

when i use the  function "saveContext" in cdsmps.exe under windows to create the cxt file,it will Prompt "skilldev not enable"and connot create the cxt file.

so I'm so upset I don't know how correctly to create the cxt file in allegro spb 17.2.I really hope to get your help.Looking forward to your reply.thanks!!!

Is your question about AUtoSilkUtils or about creating context files in general?
