skill to find broken lines (gap between lines)

Hello,

Just wonder if anyone have skill code to zoom in the location of broken lines.

More than often, when I get a dxf imported into cadence (dxf was create in SolidWork), when I do compose shape, it failed because there are little gaps between lines.

I have to zoom in at every vetex to find the broken lines and reconnecto them.

Thanks,

Regards,

TiBo

Compose Shape has a "Maximum gap" field. Did you use this? Any Skill utility would have the same limitations of not knowing which lines to join.

Now I know what you meant. I used compose shape many time and never pay attention to "Maximum gap" set up.
    Thanks,

Also use the 'find break' in the right-mouse-button menu when composing a shape. It will jump to the loose line ends so you can correct these.
