Create script print pdf and rename

Hi Guys,

Typically after done the layout, there are document need to prepare,eg: assy, fab drawing, gerber and etc.

I am trying to create a script to done all this with rename function.

But i not sure how can i do that, i am new in script. anyone can share any idea to do it?

  • Do you have access to the Productivity Toolbox?  and/or the Manufacturing Option?  We have the Productivity Toolbox, which includes a tool called "Post Processing".  The short description states: "Post Processing is an application which acts as central cockpit from which manufacturing output tasks can be configured. Once configured the user only needs to “hit the button” so that manufacturing data will be generated in background. All information is stored in the database. If necessary the configuration can be saved to disk and loaded into another design. " 

    I think there's a similar tool or set of tools in the Manufacturing Option. 

    The tools that are pre-configured are: Update Shape, Cross Section Generator, Clean Data, Standard BOM, Variant BOM, Variant Assembly, NC drill legend, ND Drill data, NC Route data, Artwork data, Standard Plot, Batch Plot, Mfg Collector, and Zip Data.  You can also configure your own items in there by adding in extra Allegro scripts.

    I did not have productivity toolbox and manufacturing option need to be configure the variants.lst in schematic....hence i am thinking go for script, can share me some script that generate the file?
