You do not need separate viewer package installation. You already have these functionalities installed as part of your 17.4 installation.

For capture viewer use <INSTALLDIR>\tools\bin\capture.exe -viewer

    For PCB Editor viewer <INSTALLDIR>\tools\bin\allegro_free_viewer.exe

You may wish to create your own shortcut if you use these frequently.

Hint to Cadence: How about an error message that reads "Physical Viewer already present in directory \... (etc) No need to continue installation."

Better yet, create links in the start menu for the viewers rather than forcing your users to do this simple but atypical process! (Well... atypical for Windows folks)
