Highlight components in PCB Editor

Hello Everybody,

I am using OrCAD PCB Editor 17.4 (P002). The new function is highliting of symbols in Capture by selecting it in PCB Editor. This function is very ,usefull but works 12 times only. After 12 selecting in PCB Editor the software should be restartet ans the selecting function works 12 times again.

Everybody knows this Problem?

same problem here, it sometimes works and sometimes not. Restart of pcb/orcad cures for a while

Update to the latest hotfix S003. I can highlight beyond 12 parts. You can get this from either Download Manager or support.cadence.com.

Its not the count of parts that was really the problem or the amount of times I use it in a session - it just randomly stops working during a session (I'm using S003/17.4) and functionality is restored by restarting apps.

I am using Hotfix 10 now, but I have this issue still. The cross probing from capture to the PCB designer works very well

The latest S011 doesn't seem to have this problem. Try the latest hotfix.
