Broken net on pth component without connectivity error!!!!

Hello.

I'm working on Orcad 16.6.

Due to a operator error we built a pad PTH (60mil copper with 39mil hole) NOT PLATED.

In Pad Designer this pad passes the check. No errors.

We built the symbol (HEADER 4x1 2.54mm). No errors.

Now we are working on a 4 layer board with this symbol.

We routed some net from inner layers to outer layer on this symbol.

We completed the board. No errors. All lights green on status.

With DFM analysis on ODB++ file we found broken nets on the header (correct because it's unplated)

Why Orcad PCB says all is ok. All green?????

With Mentor and Altium if there's a pth component with unplated pin you can't complete the connectivity

Thank you

Stefano

Yes, this is a problem that I believe needs to be reported. I ran into this problem myself during converting a single sided design into a double sided board. Lucky I caught this before i sent out my design. The only check we have is your eyeballs not the tool. When I re-created the drill table. All holes were still non plated. Common sense here prevailed. I knew the design was not connected until I changed the pads to plated.
