Set this up once then in the board directory is a file called arm_param.txt. This stores what you set. Move or copy this file to a network location say drive:\Cadence\setups then in Allegro go to Setup>User Preferences>Paths>Config and set the artpath to point to the directory you created. It should be used going forward

    thank you, steve.

i was able to set the default value.

after the decimal places get changed to 4, i always get this message.

is there a way to stop this message to show up?

Yes, but you need to reduce your board resolution at the same time as the message says.

thank you for your response, redwire.

my design has 2-decimal-place accuracy as shown below.

according to the warning message, i need to set the decimal places one greater than the detabase acccuracy.

for the gerber out, i set the default decimal places as 4, which is two greater than the databse accuracy.

but i am still getting the warning message.

am i reading the warning meesage correctly?
