How ToMake A Custom Pastemask Shape ?

nutron

I would like to make a footprint of this IC.

I got the shape of the thermal pad done , but as shown in the attached picture , the paste mask is not equally shaped like the thermal pad.

How does one create the suggested paste mask so it matches the shape of the thermal pad ?

I tried to create a flash , but the problem is that i can not see where i need to place the segments of the paste mask .

Do i need to create the footprint of the IC and then add the paste mask in PCB designer to the footprint instead of doing it in the PAD EDITOR ?

Copying the thermal pad outline to the paste mask layer won't do . if you look at the past mask in the attached picture , you can see it is broken up in segments.

Just like this? Yellow is shape on PASTEMASK_TOP, Green is shape on SOLDERMASK_TOP. I use skill code to generate it.
