Pads VX 2.5 to Allegro PCB Editor

Our flow is using DxDesigner schematic PCB interface to Allegro PCB editor.  But lately we want to use the PAD VX.2.5 (upgrade PC also to windows 10).  Now we encounter that once the Pads VX 2.5 export ".tel" file it wont change the Allegro board file automatically.  We can import it manually and we don't experience any error. Can anyone educate me on my concern.  Is there handshake restriction in windows 10 that prevents the Pads VX 2.5 to modify the Allegro board file automatically?

I think you're using P*DS pro (Expedition lite.)   I have to drive reference designs for customers and they don't use Exp.  So...

You probably checked the support website?  https://support.sw.siemens.com/en-US/search?q=.tel%20file

No need for apology, I been in Design for 14yrs, I have use many software already from zuken to altium, i am alittle bias on Allegro PCB because i use it 14yrs (up to the point i can create my on skill program).  Not to degrade other software but i understand where your curiosity coming from.  I understand almost all pros and cons of different software hehehe.

We are using Allegro 16.6,  we cant upgrade to 17.2 because support of mentor said that they dont have a software yet that is compatible to 17.2.   I am also talking on mentor support right now, and they suggestion us if we can upgrade to Expedition version.    I will look on the link you provide and see if some information there that i can try.

By the way I already submit resignation and will take effect 1.5months from now. (I will not be stuck in this setup for very long now hehehe), but being professional, i still want to help them solved this before i leave the company.  Its hard because i dont really understand how P*Ds funtions to handshake in Allegro.
