How to disable *.log files creation

Is there a way to disable Allegro / PCB designer to constantly create log files for every little thing one does?

I noticed that whenever i modify something about a footprint or do other activities , Allegro / PCB designer creates log files.

I keep manually removing them to reduce clutter , but i was wondering if loging could be disabled.

try adding the following setting to your %home%/pcbenv/env file to write the log files into a folder other than the design folder:

    set ads_sdlog = c:/temp

Do you know if this makes Allegro write all *.log files to that folder , or only the ones generated during the footprint creation and edits ?

    All log files...

How would it know the difference between editing a drawing for a footprint vs a board symbol, they both have a .dra suffix ???
