netrev.exe crashes when attempting to update BRD file (17.2)D

I have a design in Capture CIS that will netlist without issue.  When I try to update the PCB, pst files get created and then a windows dialog pops up stating that "nextrev.exe has stopped working".  When I try to do an Import>Logic from PCB editor, it completes with warnings/errors, and the log stops at "preparing to read pst files" with no additonal information.  I'm thinking that netrev is crashing at the same point there as well.

Obivously that's not a lof of information to go on, so any suggestion that might at least point me in the right direction as to why netrev crashes and the BRD won't update would be helpful.

I tried AvengerThanos' suggestion, copied both the .DSN and .BRD to a temporary folder on the desktop and renamed them.  I get the same result.  Here's the entire session log output after the netlist completes:

Btw - do you have the .brd file open when you're trying to import?

From a desktop folder with only the .DSN and .SCH files, I tried to netlist/netrev to the .BRD file and allowed OrCAD to create the directories as it pleases.  Same crash occurs.  The netrev.log file gives 56 warnings of part and pin renames, and then the following:

    INFO(ORCAP-36080): Scanning netlist files ...

    Loading... C:\USERS\RBONINI\DESKTOP\TEST\allegro/pstchip.dat

    Loading... C:\USERS\RBONINI\DESKTOP\TEST\allegro/pstchip.dat

    Loading... C:\USERS\RBONINI\DESKTOP\TEST\allegro/pstxprt.dat

    Loading... C:\USERS\RBONINI\DESKTOP\TEST\allegro/pstxnet.dat
    packaging the design view...

    Log file ends there.

Check your exact version of software from Help - About. If it;s 17.2-2016 P010 or 17.4-2019-P010 then these are the base releases and there are later versions of software available from http://support.cadence.com or Download Manager. The latest versions are 17.2-2016 S067 and 17.4-2019 S006. Get these versions installed and that should resolve your issue.

Hi. If you have Allegro open and do the FILE/IMPORT/LOGIC, and pointing to the exact location of your pstxxx.dat file, and click IMPORT. Does it import then? If not, look again at the netrev.log file for explanation.

Did not have the .BRD file open.  Updating to the latest version per steve's suggestion appears to have resolved the problem.  Thanks all.
