About difference between 'Hole' and 'Thru pin' in Constraint Manager of Allegro PCB

Hi all,

I just wonder about difference between  'Hole' and 'Thru pin' in Constraint Manager of Allegro PCB

I attached the captured picture below.

I tried to change the value to make DRC error in any design to find out which one is different between them.

but I couldn't find it and finally I ask you...

    A Thru Pin has a Drill and Pads defined on, at least, the Top and Bottom Layers, and typically has Pads defined on all layers using "Default Inner". In the cross-section, Unused, no connection on layer, Pads for Pins and Vias can be suppressed to allow more routing space, and, once the Pad is suppressed only the Hole remains, so no Hole Checks and Rules and Traces through Drill holes are possible. Hence the Rules and Checks for Holes are required.

    thank you for your reply! I want to make simple DRC error for using Holes Rule for understanding, how can I make the DRC error for example?
