Does OrCAD 17.4 Still Support Back Annotate from PADS Layout?

There used to be an option to back annotate from a Layout now it is only PCB Editor. I created a .swp file, I would just like to back annotate from that file. Please help.

Back annotate is available in OrCAD 17.4 too...use Tools - Backannotate....make sure you have selected .dsn file to see this option enabled

I have the same problem. I can see no way to back annotate from a swap file created from Mentor PADS - the only option available in the Backannotate dialog box is to generate a swap file from PCB Editor.

There is no way to do it from Capture 17.4. I had to go back to 16.6 to back annotate but I think that 17.2 may work as well. I have found 17.4 to be buggy and slower so I actually prefer working in 16.6 most of the time.

I've experienced the same problem. Therefore, Capture 17.4 is unusable without this feature.

Has anyone found a solution to this problem? Has Cadence support acknowledged that there is a problem? Where is the documentation to show the acceptable format for the swap file?
