Hey Guys,

I got a new Logitech M500S mouse and the scroll won't pan when held down, it just zooms out. Anybody have a fix for this?

thanks!

Gary pointed out in this (which got marked as potential spam) that he was asking if anyone has had trouble with their Logitech mouse panning in Allegro.

Andrew (a moderator in another forum, so I can't answer this myself as I'm not an Allegro expert)

A possible drawback with yours and many other Logitech mice models is the scroll command happens when it senses a sideways wheel tilt.

Fortunately, this is one of three mechanical click switches for the mouse wheel (left, right and down) so if you hear the click...you can assign all three to the same middle mouse function using the config software that was included.

(I agree with the usb mouse choice..  wireless mice are annoying..)

Hey RFinley, thanks! Yep, making the +/- functions Middle Button did the trick! I've been using the arrow keys to scroll which a bit of a pain. Yep, wired mouse is what I've always used and am used to. I don't need another thing to worry about charging. Thanks again.
