Partial Etch Length

Hi,

I am trying to measure the etch length of a trace, but only on part of it.

I click "Show measure" and then I select two ends of a trace or cline segments, but it selects the full Cline/Net and gives me the total etch length, where I am only interested in a segment.

Thanks

Yes, that works for just measuring one segment, but if I need to measure the etch length of multiple segments (and not the whole cline), then I need to click on each segment separately and add them all up to get the etch length. This is fine for a small number, but if there are many, then it is a bit more painstaking.

Hi. So what I did was use Display Measure, with Cline Segment in OPTIONS - 'snap to' 1st vertex (starting segment); go to vertex, 'snap to vertex'; go to next segment, 'snap to vertex'.... etc. etc. It adds up the 'routed etch length' as you do this. Works for me.
