PCB Editor not responding when it starts

I am using OrCad trial version 17.4. I have been able to work with OrCad capture without much troubles but whenever I open the pcb editor, the pcb editor window shows up as in the picture below but freezes and doesn't respond

I checked the bin folder and ProductServer.exe was there. I navigated to the symbols folder(Cadence/SPB_17.4/share/pcb/pcb_lib/symbols ) and opened one of the files there which opened the pcb editor for me with no errors.
