Hi,

In my design i have 1000+ static shape and  it  is assign as Dummy net.

These shapes are connected to IC pin which is having net name.

I want to know how to assign IC  net name for these Dummy shapes .

I know there is option called Assign net, but again this is manual work.

Thanks,

    hi karthi,

    You can assign net by this command

    axlChangeNet(
                     o_dbid
                     t_netName/o_netdbid
             )

    Thanks,

    Karthi keyan.K

    Something like this:

    symbol = car(axlSelectByName( "REFDES" "U100" ))
    foreach(pin symbol->pins
        foreach(shape axlDBGetShapes( "ETCH/TOP")
            when(axlGeoPointInShape(pin->xy shape)
                axlChangeNet(shape pin->net)
            )
        )
    )

    This works only on static shapes, not dynamic ones.
