Is it possible to delete unused nclegend subclasses from copied board file?

Yes, just turn on those layers alone.  Delete anything and everything.  If they are blank then go to the subclass manager and delete from there.  It will tell you if something still resides on a layer that must still be deleted.

Hmmm...can you take a screen shot of your subclasses menu?  All user added can be deleted.  No system subclasses.  There is no system sublcass called NCLEGEND in my tools so I suspect you didn't follow my instructions above.  *Everything* has to be removed from the layer. Make sure nothing is "fixed"

I'm 100% certain nothing exists on any of the ones I'm trying to delete...
