Cannot select cline segment

Fredda

I've got two small cline segments that I cannot select by some reason. It seems like they don't belong to a net.

Make sure they are not fixed. Select the unfix icon then right click - Unfix All and then try again.

Thanks for answering. Tried that and it reported: "Deleted 7 FIXED properties.". However, I still cannot select the clines. If I only select Nets in the FInd window and click on a GND cline, the "unselectable" clines are highlighted so it seems like they belong to the GND net. When clicking directly on the "unselectable" clines nothing is highlighted.

OK Try a Tools - Database Check (or Check - Database Check if using OrCAD licensed tools), click all the options and click on Check. You can also try a Route - Gloss, set the parameters for Line Smoothing and run that.

Use the show element command with just clines enabled and click one of the clines. Something in there will likely indicate why they are not user-editable. Could be that they are thermal ties to a pin/via, for instance, in which case they are system owned, not user, and will be added/deleted/modified when the owning pad object is manipulated. The fixed property is the most common, as Steve mentioned. But I know you can't manually delete thermal lines, dynamic teardrops, etc.

Tried the dbdoctor, but still not selectable.

    Show element doesn't reveal anything.

Route - Gloss and Line Smoothing worked however! The clines got deleted. Any idea what could have happened?

    Thanks.
