Via not showing up on menu/options

I don't have any option to add or specify via. Allegro 17.2.

    Maybe try go to "Physical Constraint Set" tab all layers.

    Click in the via cell to add vias.

    You were right, that's how I was able to do it, but only in 16.6, where the brd file was natively made. Once upreved to 17.2 I was not able to recover that option.

    I've never had that issue between revs, but might I suggest checking you PADPATH and make sure your design can find the vias? But that option has always worked for me. If you can see them in Constraints Manager/Physical you should be able to add them during connect as long as your layers are shown correctly according to the via padstack.
