Merging two PCB files into a single design

I need to merge two PCB files into one PCB file where one file has the drawing borders etc and the other has a placement.

But I do not want the placement to be modified.

There are a few methods but subdrawing, File - Export - Subdrawing (clipboard in OrCAD) is the way to go. If you always have this type of thing you should consider creating format / mechanical symbols of the drawing borders, notes etc then you can simply place them as parts in each PCB. If you actually need PCB placement / routing look at Place Replicate (lots of videos online).

Thanks Steve. We have default templates for the border etc, but when we use the setup program we have, it deletes everything and resets the entire layout. And I needed to change from an A3 border drawings to an A2 size version, I had already done a preliminary layout and didn't want to delete everything just for starting with the wrong border size.
