Padstack Editor 17.4 problem : Value must be greater than 0 [SOLVED]

Hello !

I have a big problem when creating a padstack using the Padstack Editor 17.4

In the "drill" tab, I cannot enter any numeric data without having the error message: "Value must be greater than 0"

This problem does not appear in version 17.2  padstack editor

For  SMD pad, I have the same problem in configuring the dimensions.

My Cadence version is up to date

Anyone have a solution?

Try using a period for the decimal separator instead of the comma. It might be that the tool is assuming one set of separators only for input, even though it looks like it is displaying the correct formatting on the screen per your settings.

    Thank you for the answer.

But I tried all types of separators: point, comma, by copying / pasting, by changing the keyboard language ...
    But nothing works.

Even a digit without decimal does not work ...

This looks like a field is missing data and that's why you are getting an error. Maybe try load an existing padstack and then save it out as a different name to see if that works first.

What service pack version of 17.4 are you using

This may be related to an issue associated with the OS.

Try opening the pad editor only but right click on it and run the pad editor as an administrator.

    See if that works.

I also tested as an administrator, as well as different modes of compatibility.
And I have this problem on 3 PCs (same cadence version same W10)

Can you open and save a padstack from the installation folder C:\Cadence\SPB_17.4\share\pcb\pcb_lib\symbols ?

In your picture the padstack editor looks to have an IP-Address specified at the top of the window. Are you doing things locally or via a network ?.
