Allegro 17.4 Analysis Workflow

Question about Allegro 17.4 Analysis Workflow. Before a certain hotfix (it seems to be up to 11 or 14), the diff. pair impedance analysis worked without problems, now when starting the analysis, it is required that the sigrity 2021.1 package with the latest hotfix be installed (probably some libraries are needed). Do I need to install Sigrity, even though there is no license for it (only Allegro license was purchased) in order for the analysis to work? Maybe allegro will pick up the necessary components? Or is the Analysis Workflow functionality now completely unavailable?

The required components are now distributed and maintained through the Sigrity 2021 installation for PCB Editor 17.4, as they were previously by Sigrity 2019 installation for 17.4. Previously components were potentially duplicated in both product installations. The PCB Editor license provides the rights to use the Sigrity components in the Analysis Workflows.

I wonder why was it made so. Sigrity 2021 occupies 10s of GBs of space on disk. If there was a way where the required libraries or components get installed with Allegro Base installation that would have been a fantastic one.

My guess is Sigrity includes a significant simulation library but the apps are a fraction of that.   Size savings isn't significant maybe?

Sigrity has reached service pack #250.  Allegro 17.4 just made it to #20.

Allegro with 6gb downloads times 250 releases?   Yikes..

(Just delighted to have access to Sigrity verification engines from Allegro.  I'm living my dream even though we don't have a use for it.)
