Hot to hide shape outlines?

Hi there,

I know how to hide/unhide shapes at all - outline and filling, where the filling can be set as transparent in Color Dialog. But I would like to hide only shape outlines, because they are not coupled with transparency settings of shapes and stay really bright. In fact, EVERY bright, 1px thin line over the board in PCB designer strongly reduces clarity.. Thanks for response.

Try Setup - User Preferences - unsupported and enable shape_layer_visibility_env then Apply and restart the tools. This will give you a Shp checkbox in the visibility pane that will toggle the Shape display on/off.

Hi steve, thank you for reply, but I already done this in ENV file - this checkbox hide/unhide complete shapes - filling AND outline, but I need to hide outline only, because outline of shape is 100% bright and is not affected by transparency settings in Color Dialog/Display.

OK if it's just the outline then turn off the "Bound option" for that layer. This is the shape outline that you draw

Disabling "Bound" did not help, because "Bound" and "real shape outline" are two different things. What I would like to see on PCB in Designer is the transparent shape filling only, without bright non-transparent 1px line around every copper shape I drawn, like in EAGLE or Altium..

I guess this is still not possible? Why, oh why, do the shape outlines have to be 100% bright when I dim the shapes?!
