Constraint problem

LSAUGE

Hello,

I have a small problem with the contraints that begins to drive me crazy.

The real space is always a bit bigger that the one I specified in the constraint manager... For example, even if I specified 0mm in the constraint manager, I have in reality a 1mm space.

I don't know where it can come from..

If someone have an idea, it would be very helpful !

Kind regards,

Loïc

Try the command Display - Constraints (or Check - Constraints in OrCAD) then draw a window to encompass the two objects, this will list what Constraints you are actually using. This may help to narrow done what you have set. If that doesn't help, maybe a screenshot of CM and the design section may help debug this.

Thank you, I did not know this command.

However, it is not very helpful : the only constraint is effectively 0.15 mm but there is an "air gap distance between elements" of about 0.25 mm, dont't know why.

Ok try looking a Shape - Global Dynamic Params.... - Clearances tab, make sure they are set to DRC and clear any override values for the items.

All is correctly set to DRC.

Anyway, I deleted the shape and replace it and everything is correct now. I have no idea what happened
