Allegro 3D model not rendering in correct location

Hello,

I'm using Allegro PCB Venture to design a board and have loaded an stp file of a Harting DIN41612 connector.

I can orient it correctly in the 3D viewer but when I reload the 3D view the offsets and rotations are correct but the part is in the wrong place and orientation, see pic.

I have tried several stps of the same connector from different sources (non-identical files via size info) and they all do it, to the same location.

I have made it work for other similar connectors.

Any ideas? I'm running 2021.1 (17.4-2019 S021 [9/12/2021])

I have found that if I orient the connector upside down in place then the mapping loads properly. Could it be that the part is overhanging a virtual boundary?

Some more debugging - if I add the model as a separate mechanical part I get the same issue when I locate it in that area.

Can you upload the connector dra and step files so we can take a closer look?

I can't make the upload work but here are the files on Google Drive. Both models do the same.

The parts are delivered through CIS so I added the model via the 3d viewer in the PCB Editor as our admin is off sick at the moment.

I see the same behaviour so you should send this to Cadence support/Channel Partner to take a closer look at this
