Renumbering pins in symbol

Hello,

The order of the pins in the footprint (which I think I downloaded from digikey) isn't correct. It is a 40 pin connector, so I want the standard pin order (each two pin row has adjacent values).  I've opened the .dra file in PCB Editor 17.4 and want to reorder the pins. However, the only way I can see to do it is Layout->Renumber Pins. I've played with all of the combinations of "Vertical Direction" and "Horizontal Direction", but I cannot get the ordering I need. Any tips? TIA

Probably the quickest way is to use File - Export - CSV Pin File, open this in Excel, make the changes then use File - Import CSV Pin file with Delete existing pins enabled and they are re-added with the correct pin number.
