Creating a Symbol from an existing .brd file

I imported an old .MAX file via the translator to create a .brd file in PCB Designer. I would like to save the board outline and the outline of a few key components (connector, LED, switch) etc. to a Symbol file so that I can use it to create the design on a new board. I understand how to create a new symbol and draw it from scratch, but is there a way I can save or create a symbol from this .brd file?

Try Export - More - Libraries, browse for a folder location to dump the items out then click on Export. This writes any dra, psm, bsm, ssm, fsm, osm and pad files used in the board file to the chosen directory.
