What is PCB Panelization, and why is it important?

A manufacturing process is a complex contract between a designer and a company that will mass-produce the PCB. The designer must understand that the machinery that is put in place for this process has its associated costs, which means that the time that it is working and the surface area of the material it works on must both be optimized. Panelization is a technique used to mass-produce several boards at once, placed in an array that speeds up the assembly line process.

More information about Panelization, its advantages, and the reverse process can be found here.
