Via-to-Via Coupling: How to remove the noise

PCBTech

In today’s world, a multi-layer PCB having high density interconnects (HDI) and fast switching data rates can lead to via-to-via crosstalk. This can be a challenging issue when designing a PCB.

A via is a short connection between two layers. Just like two clines can couple their signals to each other, two vias that have been placed too close to each other can communicate, thus resulting in crosstalk.

If you want to know how to remove noise on via-to-via coupling and reduce via-to-via crosstalk, click here.
