Shape Edit mode not working

Was sent a board file to do some work on, and for some reason I cannot edit copper pour shapes (polygons) like I would expect.  Normally I would select Shape Edit mode, leave selection filter set to Off then hover over a shape outline and that segment of the outline would highlight and the right-click menu would offer shape editing options (slide segment, add notch, move segment...etc).  On this board whenever I do this, it is acting like the selection filter is set to Net...hovering over the shape outline highlights the entire net (including shapes, pins, connections, vias...etc).  If I turn off Etch and leave Bound turned on then I can select and edit a shape segment or vertex as I would expect, but then of course that completely defeats the purpose of having dynamic shape editing so not very useful.  This happens ONLY on this one board file...even earlier versions of the same board file do not have this problem.  DB Doctor showed no errors.  Am I missing something?

Just figured it out...it was in the Design Object Find Filter...Nets was selected but Shapes was not.  Either de-selecting Nets (Other segs selected) or selecting Shapes corrects the problem.

    Lesson learned!
