Dear Team,

I need to measure the length and width of a pad as shown in the below image.

Could you please help me with how to do it?

Regards

HARI

I wouldn't waste my time trying to do this in the new version of 'Allegro Free Viewer', IMHO it's crippled...

I would revert to the older version named 'allegro_free_viewer_classic', which looks looks like the standard Allegro tool, it also has a 'show measure' toolbar icon & the 'Display>Measure' menu

Start the 'show measure' command, then in the Options pain change the Active Class & Subclass to 'Etch' and 'Top'

then place the cursor over the lower-left corner of the pad & RMB>Snap Pick To>Pad Edge Vertex

then place the cursor over the upper-right corner of the pad & RMB>Snap Pick To>Pad Edge Vertex

The Delta X & Delta Y values should give you the pad dimensions...
