I can't add component manually on pcb editor. It gives the following error:
Cannot load symbol 'CEC002C'
why is this happening? How can I solve it?

please open the symbol and save them the psm file gets created, place the padstacks also at a location, then check the padpath and psmpath  is updated with the location where the padstack/s, symbol (dra), psm file is placed respectively

I am using EDM environment. I created a design in Design HDL but having problem to place components on PCB editor. I have compared psmpath with other designs which work fine. They use the same psmpath. Shouldn't it work fine as well in this case? I am sorry I am new to Cadence. Is there a way to control this path location or recreate?

Somehow my path setting has changed. I configured the psm and pad setting by the help of my co-worker. It works fine now. Resolved.
