Populate Allegro PCB template with attributes from a capture schematic title block

Hi guys.

In the Older HDL one could push things like P/N and other text based attributes that were in the schematic title block so they would show up in an allegro title block.

Is it possible to do this but from capture. Basically I have a few fields such as P/N, Project name etc that exist in the capture title block but looking for a way to push
this info into my title block in allegro. Currently I just manually edit the title block in Allegro and that works ok but was trying to automate the process.

Thanks.

Yes it's possble. Take a look at this PCB Titleblocks using Schematic Data (parallel-systems.co.uk). You can also consider OrCAD EDM which has a method to also do this. You can also look at the Allegro Productiviity Toolbox which has a Custom Variables command that also does this.

This feature would be even nicer if one could (automatically) copy the data from Options / Design Template / Title Block, instead of drawing a mechanical symbol and adding that data again.
