differential pair spacing to to other nets

Hello,

I am struggling with setting up diff pair spacing to other nets without overriding the differential member spacing.

I've gone through the instructions on Cadence_App_Note_165 several times without success.

I am running Allegro Designer version 17.2 S070.

The best I can do is set spacings to only the nets that I have assigned a class to using the class-class assignment table.

The app note looks old. Is there a modern method to do this?

It seems like something so simple should not require a multi-stepped convoluted process.

thanks

Have a look at this How to define Differential Pairs (parallel-systems.co.uk) page 6 goes through the spacing but the app note  covers all aspects of diff pairs
