unplace component question

hello

i have a symbol that can not be unplaced.

the property of the symbol is empty and the symbol is unlocked and unfixed.

how can i remove the symbol?

there is no "unplace component" on the menu.

    Make sure you are in Placement Edit Mode first then try and hover over the part. Watch this for application modes:- Cadence PCB Application Modes General Etch Place - YouTube

    i found out that this is also another one with a fixed net on the symbol. so i used the unfix command and was able to unfix the net and remove the symbol.

    now my question is where i can set up for fixing a net. on the constraint manager?  how can i fix a net?

    You can eijther use the Fix icon Ior type fix at the command line) then set the relevant Find Pane options and choose the item you wish to fix or in CM look at Properties pane then Net - General Net Properties and there is a checkbox for Fixed that can be enabled.
