What is Bare Board Testing?

Failures in the field, dead boards, and thousands of wasted components are all possible scenarios if the testing stage is skipped. When the designing phase of a project is completed, you may start assembling your bare PCB right away or conduct an electrical test to check for shorts and opens in its connectivity. The idea is to ensure that the circuit part of the PCB is correct, by testing it to the expected electrical footprint of your design. Spotting possible issues early can help you save money, time, and effort.
