Hotkeys dont work properly; Window has wrong focus.

I created some hotkeys with the combination shift+alt+ numpad keys to set certain find filter option that I use often.

It works to a certain extent because sometimes it doesnt work and sometimes it does. The difference is that sometimes the focus is already in the command window and then it works and when it doesnt work the focus(cursor) is somewhere else. Then I first have to click in the command window for the hotkey combination to work.

Example:

Funckey ARight "setwindow form.find; FORM find all_off ;FORM find pins YES;FORM find vias YES;FORM find cline_segs YES"

Does somebody know how to fix this?

After the UI changes in 17.x I switched to my aliases to calling the skill functions directly, which works in 16.6 & 17.x

    Try the following:

Funckey ARight '(axlSetFindFilter ?enabled list("noall" "pins" "vias" "clinesegs") ?onButtons list("noall" "pins" "vias" "clinesegs"))'

Thanks for the reply but it doesnt solve the ïssue that I need to "focus" on the command window.

I have the ambition to study SKILL in the future etc but is there a SKILL command that will shift the focus to the command window?

Because that might solve the issue. Because I have looked for regular cadence commands that will do such thing but cant find it.

If so, we might try someting like : shift focus to command window; perform find filter commands.
