Allegro v.17.40.032 Types Text Backwards on TOP Layer

Folks,

For some reason, the latest version of Allegro (17.40.032) seems to add text in a backward format when I enter the text onto the TOP layer of anything.  I also, as a test, entered the same text onto the BOTTOM layer, but it came out backwards again.  So now, on this one board - not other boards (very weird), if I enter text which comes out backwards, I then mirror it which places it on the BOTTOM layer, then I move it to the TOP layer and that works fine.  But why should this happen on this one specific board?  Is there some setting I am not aware of that is forcing this strange behavior?

One other piece of news, this board that this "backward text" on TOP layers takes place is from an existing layout I got from a bureau.  I have gotten many other boards from them, but none of them had this strange "backward" text issue.

    Try invoking the Add - Text command then look in the Options pane and uncheck the "mirror" checkbox........

    How to uninstall the hotfix and retain base release only ? I tried install config but no luck. If this issue is related to hotfix then user can just uninstall hotfix and retain base version.

    Hi Steve,

    Yup, for some reason I did not see the "Mirror" checkbox which was checked!!  Stupid me!  Thanks!
