Is there a way to backup and restore your preferences?

Say I need to reinstall OrCAD PCB Professional, or I want to set it up on a second machine. Is there any way to back up all my settings so that I don't have to manually reconfigure everything on my new machine? Is it enough to save the env file? Is that even safe? For exmaple if the username in Windows was changed?

I think that archiving the contents of the pcbenv folder should keep all the allegro related settings, not sure about the OrCAD frontend tools

If the user name changes the contents of the pcbenv goes into the c:\Users\<username>\pcbenv folder

My pcbenv folder is completely empty. I'm not sure if it is could be because I have a space in my user account name.

Look at the setting of your Windows 'HOME' variable

Go to Control Panel - System - Advanced System Settings - Environment Variables and look for the HOME variable.

This is where the pcbenv folder is located

It turns out that the HOME variable wasn't defined at all. So now I've got it all figured out. Thanks!
