Step export with wrong symbol

I am still fresh to Allegro, and find the UI dated intentionally complicated and obtuse compared to its 2022 competitors, but the issue I have today is that I can't seem to be able to get consistent results with the 3D step file export.

The first thing is that I exported the same view three times, and the file size was first 75MB, then 53MB and then 97MB. This is without changing any settings or even closing the 3D Canvas window. The only consistent thing today, is that all Step models on the top side of the board are replaced with the model of a connector.

See images below

Solidworks import

Freecad import

When I exported the step file yesterday it was marginally better, as only the passives had the wrong model, but at least the parts critical to the mechanical design were correct.

Is this a know bug, or an intentional "feature"?

As a first step I would suggest that you check this issue with the latest 17.4 hotfix. If the issue still persists you may like to report it directly to Cadence customer support team
