Here is what I would like you to focus on as well…

    • Dynamically updated drill chart, current system is outdated.
    • Dynamically updated layer stack chart.
    • Padstack editor needs mask and paste oversize / undersize setting option rather than entering the data manually. This would save so much time for me, especially since Cadence moved them to a different tab than the copper.
    • HUGE…please please please add some wizards to the constraint manager. I love it but every time I start a new design, I have to open a previous design to remember how I set up the diff pairs, group length matching…etc…
    • As far as the poll topics:
      1. CAD Translators and Interfaces: The PADS xlator could be a lot better. PADS is dead,  we see a lot of old PADS files that need to be brought into Cadence Allegro.
      2. Routing Topologies: Best of any PCB Tool…but the arc routing could be a little less buggy.
      3. Copper fills (Shapes and Planes): Best of any PCB Tool…would be very helpful if the copper pour respected the design outline and backed off from it per the constraints.
      4. Rigid - Flex Designs: Better visuals in the cross-section manager would be helpful.
