Prevent Allegro from declaring the path of the project file in the .art deliverables.

By default, the second line of a “.art” file shows the full path of the source “.brd” project file. Here is a typical example:

G04 Layout Name:  M:/……./myProject.brd*

Is there some environment variable that would disabled this feature?

    Yes you can. Go to Setup - User Preferences - Manufacture - artwork and enable the art_stripdirectoryname option,

    Thank you Steve.  It works fine.
    This command removed  the path, but kept the Layout name "myProject.brd" in the art files.
    Can we remove the Layout name as well?

    There isn't an option for that. You may have to just save the board as a different name designX.brd then process it as a workaround.
