[Allegro Free Physical Viewer] Issue - Error : Design revision 1024.x is newer than current program

Dear Person in Charge,

when I opened the customer's project. i was faced following problem.

I'd like to know how to open this project.

Customer's version is may be 1024.x

How do I check the version my pcb viwer?

pls check it. thanks

    Greeting HimNanDa, can you please confirm if you are attempting to open a ".brd" file extension and not some other type? This looks more like a file-format error.

    In answer to your question, one can check their viewer version using the menu Help > About. See below example showing version 22.1 S005 which is the latest viewer version.

    yeah, maybe file is ".GBR'. 

    but my customer use Cadence Allegro PCB Design program.

    so this is why i try to open the file in Allger PCB VIewer (although it is .GBR)

    in this case, is there no way to open it?

    Yes you are correct. The PCB Editor is used to import and view gerber data in the Cadence tool suite. The free viewer allows users to view the actual brd designs; it is not intended as a gerber viewer. It allows a user to view and analyse many details of the design which you cannot do in gerber format. You should download one of the many free viewers available online to visualise this gerber data.
