Via mirroring issue

Hi everybody ,

I need to mirror via with user layer on Mask layers Padstack  .

When I mirror the via the Top to Bottom data are only exchange for the copper, soldermask and pastmask .

I have additional user layer with "_Top" and "_Bottom" at the end of the layer_name  but there are not swap when I mirror the via .

Is there only the default layer that can be swap from Top to Bottom or I need to set the pairing of my custom layer ?

I hope thats clear Wink

Best regards

Yes In this case the current workaround is to create a second via padstack with with user layer pad on bottom. The code which performs mirroring of user layers is linked with a symbol not vias and depends on the mirror flag being set on the symbol.

Thank you for confirming what I thought .

In my case I use a skill to panelize and if I mirror a module there are some issue with via with user layer .

The only workaround is to replace via in mirror modules but very risky Angry .

It is possible to replace vias with via structures. This can be done by Route > Via Structure > Replace Via with Via Structure. I say this because via structures behave like symbols, so it may be worth checking if the mirror feature performs better for your particular circumstance.
