Silkscreen moved to Autosilk

Hi,

I am facing a strange issue in my design as all of Silkscreen top removed and moved to Autosik TOP so now Autosilk Top has twice number for each designator and even same package on bottom side , it's designator also moved to Autosilk top but it has it's designator on Silkscreen Bottom and Autosilk Bottom as well.

I have updated symbol from place -> update symbol but it has reset designator size  and rotation for every component on top & Bottom side and brought all DRC issue related to components.

As my design is quite complex and has many components on both sides, Is there any quick fix for the issue and any specific reason why this issue happened?

Thank You

I have found no previous record of this issue. I can say that once the ref text has been deleted from a symbol there is no way to recover the text size or rotation. The text information is recovered from the library or definition which contains the original position and size. Therefore the "instance" information of the text has been lost. Updating symbols should be chosen to add a text property back to all symbols. Texts can be recovered for specific symbol types also if required. It is also possible to add a deleted reference text back to an individual part without updating all symbols of that type, This can be achieved by entering Placement Edit Mode, hover over the symbol, right-click and select "Refresh Symbol Instance". Other symbols of this type will be uneffected.

There is an add-on feature in the Allegro Productivity Toolbox product option if you have this license. The function is called "Label Tune"; with the Productivity Toolbox option enabled, this tool can be invoked by typing the  command "tbx labeltune". This feature enables automatic rotation of text labels to predefined angles, automatic centring of text labels inside a component outline, a fit operation increasing the text size as long as the text fits into the symbol boundary plus automatic mirroring.
