How to make the design read-only in OrCAD to prevent editing

In Schematics I want to lock certain pages and share with others so that those pages appear as read-only and no changes are done to the page. I couldn't find any option to lock the pages. How can we do it ?

Though the Edit - lock option is available anyone can unlock it and edit the page. Similarly for PCB editor also.

Hi Schulz Jordan, For PCB Editor you can go to File > Properties , Use this dialog box to secure your design file with a read-only database lock. You can set the password and choose from various Lock Type based on your preference.

View- Locks the database for saving and exporting design data such as techfiles, libraries, and modules. Use this option to share database for viewing only.

Export- Locks the database for exporting design data, such as techfiles, libraries, and modules.

Write:Locks the database for saving design data.

The lock option in capture is to lock the design so that no changes can be done to that page/design unless you unlock it.

This is basically to prevent any updates in the page or design by mistake or give a sense of info to the user that this section of the design is freeze and no changes are intended on this.
But yes there is no feature of tracking it.
